On February 15th we announced a contest called Crime in YOUR City. Basically, people voted for their local shop via email and whichever shop accumulated the most votes would get a City demo. We received tons of votes, but there was a specific region that had multiple shops in the Top 10. The
Detroit, Michigan metropolitan area was voting like crazy, led by skateshops
Plus in Farmington and
Refuge in Dearborn. However,
Metro Trend,
Detroit City Skates,
Corky's,
Downtown Skate Shop, and
Skaters Advocate also showed us lots of love... So Motown, here we come! We'll head out in May to skate, film, demo and party for a week straight. Details coming soon...

Check out Dave's spread in the May issue of Slap. Just a peek....

Alex met this dude in AZ. Apparently this was his third pitcher!

Stunna knows how to get paid...
Tony Montgomery's myspace profile just got a little more gangsta.
Check out his new profile image.
Congratulations to
Dolek for winning the latest Youtube Jihad! For most of the week,
Knul was ahead in Views, but a last minute surge by Dolek and his supporters in Poland, took him to the top. Dolek also had the most Top Ratings and Favorites. Thank you very much to
Decha.pl, the Polish skateboard website that contributed so much to the competition.
Knul, you did a very good job, so we'll award you with a consolation prize. Contact us at
info@streetcornerskate.com and we will discuss your prize.
Between Dolek and Knul, Jeremy's part received big-time honors on Youtube.
Thanks to everyone who participated. Today we present to you the credits chapter of Crime in the City. The full-length version will be posted at a later date. And remember, if you want to see this epic video in all its glory on a big screen TV, head to your local shop and buy a City deck. The boards are also available online at
